I am collaborating in the SMII project as a Technology Translator Officer.
The aim of the Sportello Matematico is to boost collaborations in the field of Mathematical Technologies between italian SMEs and research centers.
A Technology Translator Officer at SMII must have a solid mathematical background and a wide knowledge of industrial processes.
I can briefly summarize my activities in:
/consulting activities to support national industries in identifying possibilities for innovation that can be developed thanks to a mathematical contribution,
/translator activities to reformulate the industrial problem in scientific terms,
/intermediation activities to manage and supervise all interactions between industries and research centers,
/dissemination and promotion activities
